PEP/PREP

Dareecha, in collaboration with WHO & Government of Pakistan, initiated the distribution of Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) in 2019 to support key populations in Pakistan. This program is a significant step in HIV prevention, offering high-risk individuals access to medication that effectively reduces the likelihood of HIV transmission.

By implementing this initiative, Dareecha has not only enhanced access to life-saving preventive measures but also reinforced its commitment to promoting the health and well-being of marginalized communities. This collaboration underscores the importance of public-private partnerships in addressing critical health challenges and ensuring equitable healthcare services for all.

Dareecha ensures confidentiality and accessibility by offering Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) directly to individuals from all communities who may feel uncomfortable visiting government hospitals.

This initiative addresses concerns around privacy and stigma, allowing individuals to access these critical HIV prevention measures in a safe and supportive environment. By prioritizing confidentiality, Dareecha fosters trust and inclusivity, encouraging more people from key populations to take proactive steps in safeguarding their health. This approach significantly contributes to HIV prevention efforts and promotes equitable access to healthcare services.
